Ayurvedic Consultation for Joint & Back Pain in Chembur

Pain, stiffness and changes in movement can affect work, rest and everyday activities. At Shree Vishwa Anand, discuss your concerns with Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), before selecting a treatment.

Assessment before a treatment plan

Describe when symptoms began, what changes them and how they affect daily life. Bring relevant medical reports and a list of medicines, previous diagnoses and treatments.

Ayurvedic assessment is considered alongside your history and existing medical care. Additional examination, investigations or referral may be needed; a website cannot establish the cause of pain.

Individualized Ayurvedic management

The physician may discuss supportive care, diet and lifestyle guidance, and treatment options according to suitability. A standard massage or Panchakarma course is not assumed appropriate for everyone.

Abhyangam and Swedana are supporting therapies; Basti is an internal Panchakarma procedure requiring separate assessment, supervision and aftercare. Their inclusion depends on clinical judgment, not simply the presence of back or joint pain.

Ayurvedic Perspective and Responsible Care

Ayurveda approaches joint pain and stiffness through an individualised assessment of Dosha imbalance, particularly Vata, along with Agni, Ama, lifestyle and the patient's overall health condition.

Treatment planning may include appropriate Ayurvedic therapies, dietary guidance and lifestyle measures according to the patient's condition and suitability. The aim is to provide personalised care that supports comfort, mobility and everyday well-being.

Results vary according to the underlying condition. Ayurvedic care may support comfort and mobility as part of individualized care, but should not be expected to reverse established structural joint damage or restore lost cartilage. Tell the physician about recent injuries, surgery, pregnancy, current medicines and worsening symptoms. Sudden or severe symptoms may need urgent medical assessment. Do not stop prescribed treatment without appropriate medical advice.

Follow-up that reflects your response

Discuss practical care goals and how your symptoms and everyday function will be reviewed. Treatment selection and follow-up are individualized; no fixed number of sessions or guaranteed result is offered.
