Ayurvedic Consultation for Stress & Sleep Problems in Chembur
Stress, anxious feelings or disrupted sleep can affect daily life. Discuss your experiences, routines and existing care with Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), before considering an individual approach.
Begin with your symptoms and daily life
Describe what you experience, when it began and how it affects sleep, work and relationships. Discuss current medicines, relevant diagnoses and any care from a mental-health or other medical professional.
Persistent or distressing symptoms may need additional medical or mental-health assessment. This page cannot diagnose an anxiety or sleep disorder.
Traditional assessment within a wider clinical picture
Nadi Parikshan (traditional Ayurvedic pulse assessment) and Prakruti Analysis form part of Dr. Amar Shinde's traditional assessment. They do not replace appropriate medical examination, diagnostic investigations, medical monitoring or referral.
Traditional dosha descriptions do not establish a neurological or hormonal diagnosis. Ayurvedic consultation should not delay appropriate mental-health care, medical evaluation or prescribed treatment.
The whole-person assessment brings together your complaints, medical history, diet, lifestyle and relevant medical evaluation with Prakruti, Nadi Parikshan and the traditional Ayurvedic concept of Agni (digestive function). These classical concepts help frame an individualized Ayurvedic plan; they are not substitutes for a medical diagnosis or investigations.
Routines, diet and supportive options
Discuss sleep routines, work demands, activity and food habits. Dr. Amar Shinde's Swasthavritta & Yoga expertise informs individualized diet and lifestyle guidance; no fixed regimen or guaranteed sleep result is promised.
Shirodhara and Abhyangam are supporting Ayurvedic therapies, separate from the five principal Panchakarma procedures. The physician considers your Prakruti and dosha assessment when discussing these options. Potential supportive aims include comfort and relaxation alongside diet and lifestyle guidance; individual response varies. These therapies do not cure diagnosed psychiatric or sleep disorders or replace appropriate medical or psychological treatment. Any principal Panchakarma procedure needs its own suitability assessment and is not automatically indicated for stress or sleep concerns.
Follow-up and timely care
Discuss suitable options, their limits and how your response will be reviewed. Tell the physician about new or worsening symptoms and relevant medicines before any procedure.
For urgent health or safety concerns, seek appropriate immediate medical help. Do not rely on a telephone or WhatsApp enquiry response for urgent care.
After individual assessment, Dr. Amar Shinde may prescribe Ayurvedic medicines that he personally prepares in the clinic's in-house pharmacy for patients under his care. These medicines are not sold commercially, through retail outlets, or outside the clinic. Medicines may be prescribed even when Panchakarma is not undertaken; medicines are optional and procedures are not mandatory. Medicine charges are separate and are explained by the clinic; no prices are published here.
Do not stop or alter prescribed conventional medicines without the approval of your prescribing clinician. Bring details of all medicines and supplements so possible interactions and treatment suitability can be reviewed. Maintain necessary medical monitoring and seek appropriate referral or additional medical assessment when indicated.
Follow-up is tailored to your symptoms, treatment response and monitoring needs. Contact the clinic about adverse reactions, new symptoms or worsening symptoms.
