Ayurvedic Weight Management in Chembur

Weight concerns deserve a discussion of your health, daily routines and realistic goals. Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), considers your circumstances before recommending diet, lifestyle or treatment options.

Understand the factors affecting you

Discuss your weight history, eating patterns, activity, sleep, work routine and previous attempts at change. Bring relevant diagnoses, medicines and investigations so the physician can consider your wider health.

The aim is an individualized assessment, not a fixed target or a judgement based on appearance. Further medical evaluation may be needed where indicated.

Traditional assessment and appropriate investigations

Nadi Parikshan (traditional Ayurvedic pulse assessment) and Prakruti Analysis form part of Dr. Amar Shinde's traditional assessment. They do not replace appropriate medical examination, diagnostic investigations, medical monitoring or referral.

Prakruti Analysis is a traditional Ayurvedic framework for understanding constitution. It is not a stand-alone explanation for every weight change or a substitute for investigating an underlying medical concern.

The whole-person assessment brings together your complaints, medical history, diet, lifestyle and relevant medical evaluation with Prakruti, Nadi Parikshan and the traditional Ayurvedic concept of Agni (digestive function). These classical concepts help frame an individualized Ayurvedic plan; they are not substitutes for a medical diagnosis or investigations.

Practical diet and lifestyle guidance

Discuss sustainable changes that fit your food preferences, schedule and medical needs. No crash diet, universal restriction or guaranteed weight-loss rate is advertised.

Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), specializes in Swasthavritta & Yoga, with expertise in diet and lifestyle modification. A separate comprehensive diet and lifestyle service is available following detailed evaluation; its personalized PDF report is charged separately from the standard consultation.

Selecting treatments responsibly

Udwartanam is a classical external therapy using herbal powders with massage techniques. Abhyangam and suitable Swedana are other supporting options within the clinic's established scope. The physician may select them for supportive care and comfort according to your assessment, not as promised fat-removal or weight-loss methods. Any principal Panchakarma procedure is considered separately if justified by individual assessment. This traditional rationale does not establish metabolic disease reversal, a particular weight change or a default weight-loss package.

Suitability, precautions and follow-up are individualized. Continue prescribed care and discuss realistic goals and how progress will be reviewed.

After individual assessment, Dr. Amar Shinde may prescribe Ayurvedic medicines that he personally prepares in the clinic's in-house pharmacy for patients under his care. These medicines are not sold commercially, through retail outlets, or outside the clinic. Medicines may be prescribed even when Panchakarma is not undertaken; medicines are optional and procedures are not mandatory. Medicine charges are separate and are explained by the clinic; no prices are published here.

Do not stop or alter prescribed conventional medicines without the approval of your prescribing clinician. Bring details of all medicines and supplements so possible interactions and treatment suitability can be reviewed. Maintain necessary medical monitoring and seek appropriate referral or additional medical assessment when indicated.

Follow-up is individualized to review symptoms, tolerability, relevant monitoring and the next appropriate steps. Report adverse reactions or worsening symptoms; a successful response or guaranteed outcome is not promised.
