Dr. Amar Shinde · MD (Ayurveda) · Chembur, Mumbai
Understand the change before choosing care.
Individualized Ayurvedic consultation for hair fall, premature greying, dandruff and scalp concerns in Chembur, Mumbai.
Hair fall, greying and scalp health
Discuss the pattern and duration of hair fall, changes in colour, flaking, itching and scalp irritation. These concerns may have different causes and should not be assumed to respond to the same therapy. No guaranteed hair regrowth or reversal of greying is promised.
Assessment beyond the scalp
Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), reviews complaints, medical history, current medicines, diet and lifestyle alongside traditional Nadi Parikshan, Prakruti Analysis and Agni assessment. These traditional Ayurvedic concepts do not replace medical examination, appropriate investigations or specialist referral.
Review nutrition, daily routines, stress, hair products and previous treatment. Relevant medical evaluation may be needed to identify causes of hair or scalp changes.
An individualized plan
Diet and lifestyle guidance, suitable scalp care and physician-prescribed Ayurvedic medicines may form part of the plan. Panchakarma or supportive therapies are considered only when individually justified, not as routine hair-restoration procedures.
Scalp sensitivities, irritation and current medicines must be discussed before using preparations or undergoing procedures. Seek medical or dermatological assessment for sudden or worsening changes, painful scalp lesions or suspected infection.
Medicines and review
After individual assessment, Dr. Amar Shinde may prescribe Ayurvedic medicines that he personally prepares in the clinic's in-house pharmacy for patients under his care. These medicines are not sold commercially, through retail outlets, or outside the clinic. Medicines may be prescribed even when Panchakarma is not undertaken; medicines are optional and procedures are not mandatory. Medicine charges are separate and are explained by the clinic; no prices are published here.
Follow-up is individualized to review symptoms, tolerability and relevant medical monitoring. Report adverse reactions or worsening symptoms promptly. An enquiry does not confirm an appointment; the clinic confirms appointments directly.
