Patient questions
Consultation, care and practical questions
What happens during consultation?
A typical consultation lasts approximately one hour. Dr. Amar Shinde reviews complaints, medical history, diet, lifestyle and health condition before discussing an individualized plan.
What are Nadi Parikshan and Prakruti Analysis?
Dr. Amar Shinde, MD (Ayurveda), reviews complaints, medical history, current medicines, diet and lifestyle alongside traditional Nadi Parikshan, Prakruti Analysis and Agni assessment. These traditional Ayurvedic concepts do not replace medical examination, appropriate investigations or specialist referral.
Is the personalized diet and lifestyle report included?
The comprehensive diet and lifestyle modification service is separate from consultation and charged separately. Following detailed evaluation, it provides an approximately 25–30-page personalized report delivered digitally in PDF format. No treatment result is guaranteed.
Does every patient need Panchakarma?
No. The physician selects suitable options after assessment. Panchakarma is not a mandatory package or a guaranteed cure; medicines, diet and lifestyle care may be considered without procedures.
What is the five-procedure order on this website?
Vamana → Virechana → Nasya → Raktamokshana → Basti is the educational presentation order, not a universal treatment sequence. Preparatory and supporting therapies are discussed separately.
Can I enquire about a one-day therapy?
You may enquire about a therapy visit, but suitability, preparation and availability need clinic confirmation. Do not assume a single-day session is suitable or that intensive procedures can be completed without assessment.
Are medicines mandatory, and where are they prepared?
After individual assessment, Dr. Amar Shinde may prescribe Ayurvedic medicines that he personally prepares in the clinic's in-house pharmacy for patients under his care. These medicines are not sold commercially, through retail outlets, or outside the clinic. Medicines may be prescribed even when Panchakarma is not undertaken; medicines are optional and procedures are not mandatory. Medicine charges are separate and are explained by the clinic; no prices are published here. Do not stop or alter prescribed conventional medicines without your prescribing clinician's approval. Share all medicines and supplements for interaction review.
Should I continue my existing medical treatment?
Do not stop or alter prescribed conventional medicines without approval from your prescribing clinician. Share all medicines and supplements and continue necessary medical monitoring.
How are follow-up visits arranged?
Follow-up is individualized to review symptoms, tolerability, relevant monitoring and next steps. Ask the clinic how to arrange your review and report adverse reactions or worsening symptoms promptly.
How do I request an appointment?
Call +91 84540 65664 or send a WhatsApp enquiry. Visiting hours are 8 AM–8 PM, with an appointment required. An enquiry is not an appointment confirmation; the clinic confirms directly. Online booking and the AI Receptionist are not available; please call or WhatsApp the clinic.
Where can I ask about charges?
Contact the clinic for current charges before proceeding. Consultation, the comprehensive personalized diet and lifestyle report and medicines have separate charges. No public treatment prices or fixed packages are published here.
How should I prepare, and what aftercare is needed?
Preparation and aftercare depend on the procedure and individual assessment. Obtain instructions from the clinic rather than following a generic fasting, medicine or recovery schedule. Do not self-administer Panchakarma procedures.
What if symptoms worsen or I have a reaction?
Seek prompt medical assessment; emergency symptoms require emergency care. Do not wait for a telephone or WhatsApp enquiry response. Screening, monitoring and escalation instructions are individualized.
